but of course,

drenched in full chaotic energy—
laughing, loud,

He passed by.
I didn’t notice.
But my brain,
that faithful traitor,
sent a spark—
a neurotransmitter whispering:
“He’s near.”
And there he was,
walking,
headphones in,
music in his world,
unbothered.
I promised myself just a glimpse—
tiny, safe, harmless.
But that glimpse turned
into a whole
fangirl spiral.
And I didn’t even notice
when my heart melted
quietly
in admiration
